Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has announced QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, which includes 54 disciplines classified into five broad subject areas. 1,594 universities  around the world are evaluated based on five metrics including academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, H-index and international research network. QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 rated the Dpt. of Tourism Administration among top 150 universities worldwide in the specific subject area of Hospitality and Leisure Management for 2024.

In the "mentorship" project carried out during 2022-2023 Fall semester, our students and their mentors have presented the results of their projects, which they have executed within the scope of the "Conventions and Special Events" course at Boğaziçi University Department of Tourism Administration in collaboration with the MPI Turkey Club (Meeting Professionals International) and SITE Turkey Chapter (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence).

The 2^nd Sustainable Tourism Summit, organized by Boğaziçi University Department of Tourism Administration and Anima Mice & Event team, has been held on 02-03 December 2022 at Boğaziçi University Albert Long Hall. At the summit hosted by the Department of Tourism Administration with the participation of academicians, public and private sector executives, our students have also shared their opinions and suggestions for sustainable tourism.

The first Scientific/Academic Committee Meeting of the Via Eurasia cultural route took place in Istanbul on December 20th 2019 at Boğaziçi University under the leadership of the Cultural Routes Society and was co-hosted by Boğaziçi University Dpt. of Tourism Administration and Applied Tourism Administration and Research Center.
